Melissa "Iss" Marie is our oldest. She was born in Ft. Lauderdale in 1976.

Missie has her mom's good looks and my artistic talent and at times, my temper and twisted sense of humor.  A time when she and Mandi were real young comes to mind here... Mandi couldn't even walk yet. She was sitting in one of those little round chairs, with the tray on the front. We found Miss sitting there watching her eat something. When we looked closer we realized Miss had been feeding Mandi a cock roach. As soon as Miss figured she was busted, she looked at us and said, "Manni doopid. Manni eat bugs". Deb and I still laugh when we talk about that.

Seems she still enjoys sticking things into people's mouths, although in a much more productive manner. She is a dental hygienist. After having her do a deep cleaning on my own teeth, I can honestly say she is very good at her job! No pain at all. It was through her gentle touch that I began to lose my lifelong fear of dentisty.

She's married to Kevin and lives about a half hour south of us. They work good as a team and have done some very nice things to their home and yard. Kev, just make sure you sleep with your mouth shut!

I'll have to ask Iss what else she'd like to share on this web site. Like I said, she has inherited some of my temper and I'm afraid she'll beat my butt if I put the wrong stuff on here!
