- 5" wheel brie
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 TBSP unsalted butter
- Thin sliced bread, for serving
Bring sugar and water to boil. Simmer til reduced by half. Remove from heat. Add pecans and cream. Stir well. Return to simmer. Cook til slightly thickened, 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in butter.
Place Brie on a large plate. Pour the hot carmel pecan mixture over top. Surround with bread slices and serve.
